snowdrops
Whew, life is about to get busy. I started back up at the greenhouses today. This is the first day of many, the working stiff’s nine to five, the dirty grind begins. Although I was laid off for the season in November, it feels as though i never left. In all truth , it’s good to be back and I’m looking forward to see what 2011 holds. The vibe so far seems positive enough, a couple people that used to cause me grief aren’t returning this year, and people seem optimistic. I’m starting a little later this year then the last due to my Mexican adventures. I always find it’s a strange feeling to go from 0-100 in a matter of a weekend, going from endless free time to exceptionally busy. Alas this is life.
Throughout this all I would like to attempt to keep this blog going this year. I spent much of last year dreaming of the idea, and now it’s time to make it happen. I will try my best to fit it in my busy schedule, everyone needs a creative outlet right?
Only 10 months to go. DAY 1, check!
I spent much of the day filling orders for the early spring color. Bulbs such as crocus, daffodil, hyacinth, snowdrops and dwarf iris. Let us also not forget the never ending fields of primulas, in all different sizes. Let the madness begin!
