Plant Time lapse
A couple months ago I bought a new HD Time Lapse camera. My old one just wasn’t cutting it, this one is incredible. I set it up from late September to mid November watching the main tropical stage of my garden get deconstructed for the winter. It’s a neat effect.

Watch the latest time lapse video. One month spent amongst the vines. Watch an Eccremocarpus scaber (Chilean Glory Vine) flower and fruit nearby a passion flower vine.
I recently left my time lapse camera in the main house and I’m pleased with the results. 1 month in a geranium patch is not a bad place to be. Watch the fuchsia baskets bud & flower, and a conspicuous grass weed grow amongst the geraniums. I love time lapse!
A time lapse that actually worked. Check out this amazing footage of a cyclamen patch I’ve had my time lapse camera fixed on for over a month now. 1 shot every 30 minutes from 7:00am-6:00pm everyday, for 1 month, turned into 1 minute.
Sadly youtube butchered the quality a bit, I will have to find a better way of hosting these. Regardless it makes it’s point.
So the ammarlyis time lapse is finally finished, IE the flowers are done and faded so it was time to check the plant cam. It didn’t work out exactly as I had planned but it’s interesting to watch none the less. I’ll work out the glitches and there should be many more videos in the coming year. For the moment here it is.
