Exotic Gardening with Rare and Strange Plants

I spent the entire weekend in the garden (big surprise) and thoroughly relaxed as best I could. I love 3 day weekends!

In moments of not being in the garden, I found myself searching the Internet for strange plants and the like, found a couple interesting links I’d like to share.

First of all for some strange plant eye candy, check out this blog post on tropical flowers. It’s posted in some sort of Asian language so you probably won’t understand much of the text, but the photos are stunning. Click here

Secondly I was searching for some Tagetes lemmonii seeds (bush marigold) and I came across this interesting seed bank in California. There’s are great selection of strange and unusual seeds here at fair prices. How do you spend $20.00 on a Sunday night looking at plant porn, seed bank websites.. (Sigh)… Needless to say the site is simple but extensive, it also has some great articles. Give it gander. J. L. Hudson, Seedsman

For fun, attached is a particularily stunning photo of my Senecio cristobalensis. Oooo fuzzy!
