Pilea peperomioides ‘Chinese Dollar Plant’

If you’ve found your way here you probably already know about this plant. All of a sudden it seems everyone wants the famed ‘Chinese Dollar Plant’. Pilea peperomioides is a wonderful easy to grow plant that is as cute as it is strange. Prolific and fast growing. Tolerant of neglect, thrives with attention and grows as big as the pot provided. I acquired my first plant via a friend as many do; it was from her late father’s plant collection he acquired it nearly thirty years ago.

Some articles that have been written about the plant.
